Under this ITI, €27 million from the Program “Attiki”
will fund 46 projects and interventions across the three parks
The sustainable development strategy rests on three pillars
Planned works include extensive fencing, lighting, irrigation, fire detection and fire protection, the creation of walking routes, and accessibility for persons with disabilities (PwD) and people with mobility impairments.
Action teams will be established to monitor urban green spaces; studies will be undertaken to enhance flora and reduce the environmental footprint; and renovation of existing infrastructure and equipment will be initiated. Playgrounds and sports/recreation facilities will be refurbished, and new technologies will be used to enable smart routes and educational programs.
